Persaingan antara Valentino Rossi dan Jorge Lorenzo akan berlanjut akhir pekan ini, saat keduanya turun pada GP Inggris di Sirkuit Silverstone.
Dua pebalap Movistar Yamaha tersebut sama-sama mengoleksi 211 poin dan berada di puncak klasemen sementara. Pebalap Repsol Honda, Marc Marquez, menyusul di posisi ketiga dengan selisih 52 angka.
